Paul Robert, operator of Intervale Lock & Safe, is a second-generation locksmith who grew up in the locksmith industry. Paul's father, who emigrated from France in 1952, went to work for Sherman Lock & Safe in Waltham, Massachusetts, before he graduated from high school. In 1980, he purchased the business from the owners, Harry and Bea Sherman. Today Paul's father continues to run the well-respected company, operating it as a family business employing Paul's brother and cousins. He is proud to now be serving the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of his original customers.
Paul began working at the company at age 13, and signed on as a full-time employee at 17. His early start in the locksmith business prepared him well to set up his own business. In 1998 he moved to the Mt. Washington Valley and established Intervale Lock & Safe. Since then this avid skier, mountain biker and musician has put down deep roots in the Valley.
A CLS Certified Locksmith and SAVTA Safe and Vault Technician, Paul is fully licensed, bonded and insured. With a lifetime of experience to draw on, Paul says knowledge and equipment are the basis of his business. He invests in both training–over 2,600 hours to date–and the latest equipment to ensure that he can always provide the highest level of service to his customers. This is why he has become the locksmith of choice for municipalities, businesses and individuals in the greater Mt. Washington Valley.
